2026 Fund-A-Need: Strengthening Safety, Security & Campus Well-Being at St. Benedict Catholic School

Dear Friends of St. Benedict Catholic School,

Each year, we identify a special Fund-A-Need project that directly impacts the daily experience
of our students. This year, we are focused on a critical priority for our school: strengthening the
safety, security, and overall well-being of our campus.

The funds raised this evening will support essential upgrades designed to protect every student,
staff member, and visitor who enters our school. These improvements are not simply
enhancements—they are necessary investments to ensure that St. Benedict remains a safe,
secure, and welcoming environment where students can learn and thrive with confidence.
Here’s how your support will make an immediate and meaningful impact:

Secure Entry Doors | $55,000
This phase includes replacing our three entry doors on the main floor with new, secure doors that
function properly and provide enhanced security. This also includes installation of a new entry
camera system to better monitor and manage access to our building—an important first line of
defense in keeping our campus safe. The design will preserve the original stained-glass work
above the doors and complement the building ascetic.

Window Security Completion | $25,000
To further strengthen our campus security, this phase will finalize the installation of security
grills on all remaining lower-level windows. This provides an added layer of security while
maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our students.

Enhanced Camera System | $15,000
Upgrading to a high-definition camera system will significantly improve our ability to monitor
campus activity in real time. These enhancements will support better visibility, faster response,
and increased peace of mind for our entire school community.

Looking Ahead | $15,000
Should we exceed our goal, additional funds will be directed toward replacing three lower-level
entry doors, continuing our commitment to a fully secure and well-maintained campus.
