2025 Fund-a-Need: Fueling the Future of STEM at St. Benedict School 

This year’s Fund-a-Need is all about empowering the next generation of scientists, engineers, tech whizzes, and problem-solvers by enhancing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education across every grade level at St. Benedict Catholic School.

Here’s how your support will make an impact:

 Science
We’re launching a brand-new, modern science curriculum for grades K–8, aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards. These materials will bring science to life through inquiry-based learning and hands-on discovery. Even our youngest learners in PS and PK will benefit from new tools that help them explore the natural world with wonder and curiosity.

 Technology
We're doubling our school’s computing power! Your donations will help us purchase new laptops and tablets for classroom use—retiring outdated equipment and replacing worn-out charging stations. These upgrades will enhance learning and give students access to essential tech tools for today’s digital world.

 Engineering
With support from our parish, we’re transforming unused space into a dedicated STEM annex. This will become a hands-on lab equipped with 3D printers, maker materials, and interactive learning opportunities—designed to spark creativity and innovation in every student.

 Mathematics
To complement our tech upgrades, we’ll invest in new educational software to enhance math practice and learning. These tools won’t replace instruction—they’ll enrich it, helping students sharpen their skills and deepen their understanding through personalized, tech-enabled experiences.
